This channel is all about baby swimming and teaching children to swim in a fun and positive learning environment. My family has owned and operated swim schools in Australia since 1966. Our swimming program is unique in that we teach baby to be independently mobile in the water at an early age without floatation devices. All swim lessons are done under strict adult supervision. No child is drown proof and adult supervision is vital even once children have strong swimming skills. Learning to swim should be a happy and positive experience for parent and child. As a mum and swimming teacher I am critical of any learn to swim methods that use fear or force to teach babies to swim. Online you will see lots of different baby swimming methods. I urge you to follow your parental instincts and avoid programs that do not respond to children when they are crying or showing other signs of stress. Building positive and respectful relationships with children is vital in learn to swim lessons.
