Less than 20 seconds later, Bowen Byram scored to bring the tally up to 2-0. Josh Norris scored late in the period, having returned to the lineup from injury. Kyle Connor netted one for the Jets in the second and Alex Tuch responded with a goal a minute after. Norris scored his second goal of the game in the third period for a final tally of 5-1. Goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 24 saves in the matchup.
