Jason Zucker, in his first game back from injury, scored shortly after, followed by a third goal by Bowen Byram. Ryan McLeod, Mattias Samuelsson, and Doan all tallied goals in the second, to create a 6-2 lead. Tage Thompson, Jack Quinn, and Jacob Bryson scored in the third period to tally up to nine. Goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 20 saves in the matchup.
