Pro triathlete Eric Lagerstrom made his swimrun debut at ÖTILLÖ Orcas Island — and he's already eyeing the 2027 World Championship.
Eric's been everywhere: draft-legal ITU racing, 70.3, Xterra, ultrarunning, and building a legit YouTube filmmaking career along the way. Now he's found swimrun, and this conversation covers all of it — gear tinkering, the Charity Chaser pursuit format, surviving Mount Constitution, and why so many triathletes sleep on this sport.
Plus: We share training updates ahead of the Alta 50K, and we've got a preview of next week's Orcas course episode with designer Brent Mulsberry.
