One of our favorite ways to utilize resistance cords is to incorporate race-like speed into the wall. The faster we come into the wall, the higher our speed potential is when we come off the wall. By assisting the swimmer in with a cord, the swimmer can then practice how to control the turn when traveling at a higher velocity than they are accustomed to. By adding resistance to his breakout strokes, we also improve his strength in the water and sprint abilities.
