Runners attempt to run through the mud pit at the 2026 World Cross Country Championships

Some local amateur runners showed us what it’s like to go through the mud pit. If you notice, on the let hand side there is a narrow dry patch. We’ve heard they may try to do something about that before the main race tomorrow. We’ve also heard they may put both of the volunteers on that side so no one can cut in.
