Yared Nuguse won the men's 1500m at the Stockholm Diamond League in 3:30.11, holding off 19-year-old Australian phenom Cam Myers in the closing meters for his second straight Diamond League win of 2026.
With the win, Nuguse now has six career Diamond League distance victories — more than any American distance runner in the history of the circuit. Donavan Brazier is second on the list with four. Twelve other American distance runners are tied with one apiece.
The Stockholm win continues what Nuguse has openly framed as a revenge tour after failing to make the US team for the 2025 World Championships.
