Backstroke Body Position Kick #theraceclub
No matter how talented the swimmer, your backstroke will never truly live up to it's full potential if our shoulders remain flat in the water. Clara came to us with MANY issues needing to be address in backstroke, and nearly all of them can be pinpointed to flat shoulders and improper head position. By doing a simple body position kick drill, we find the ideal body position to be in before adding in any strokes.
This may seem incredibly simple, but it is an often-overlooked element to backstroke most athletes do not focus on as much as they should. Try this drill to setup your backstroke technique.
