Football America is a show about stories that matter—discussed by people who don’t. Why? Because this beautiful game deserves all of the spotlight. Football raised us. We obsess over it. We fight about it. We name our dogs after retired players, then name our children after those dogs. We talk football the way Sinatra sang songs: with conviction. And drunk. Each week, Dave Dameshek’s embarrassing habit of assigning meaning to frivolous stats is on full display as he is joined by a host of celebrities, players, and well-meaning people who play experts on television.
