Episode Notes

Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast, and is joined by Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com.

The Pittsburgh Steelers avoided the middle part of the field for most of their loss against the Chicago Bears. But was that moree on Mason Rudolph? Or on Arthur Smith's design on offense? Christopher Carter and Nick Farabaugh discuss their review of the all-22 film on what chances Rudolph missed over the middle of the field to DK Metcalf, Roman Wilson and other Steelers receivers, and where Aaron Rodgers could be better when he returns from injury. Also, Chris recalls his exchange with Mike Tomlin about the Steelers' defensive scheme issues. Chris and Nick discuss the issues with the Steelers' usage of spot drop cover 3 zone defense, as well as why Tomlin's less than forthcoming about the real issues for the team.
