Sasha Digiulian

Vika talks about the concept of fear with rock climbing trailblazer Sasha DiGuilian. Vika and Sasha share and compare their experiences of dealing with the uncertainties surrounding athletic performance, working through injuries and off-court priorities, and balancing the pressure to succeed with the love of the sport.
Sasha DiGuilian is a three-time U.S. National Champion and the first North American woman to climb the grade 9a, 5.14d, recognized as one of the hardest sport climbs achieved by a woman. The 28-year-old Virginia native is a graduate of Columbia University and sits on the board of the Women's Sports Foundation. She also serves as a Global Ambassador for Right to Play.
