MSU Heads on the Road to Take on Minnesota

February 2, 2026: The Spartans head out on the road to Minneapolis to try and get rid of the bad taste in their mouth after that disastrous game against Michigan. The Barn isn’t quite as difficult a place to play that it was in the past because of the slide that Minnesota has had over the last few seasons.

Niko Medved took the helm this year and despite a general lack of talent and two starters lost for the year with injury the team has competed hard. The Gophers have been in just about every Big Ten game despite dropping 7 straight. Of note for MSU is the expectation that Jordan Scott will be inserted in the starting lineup in place of Divine Ugochukwu.
