The day has finally come after 3 years, 9 months and 7 days - Serena Williams has played a professional tennis match. We unpack the straight sets doubles victory for Serena and Mboko over the number three seeds and assess just how well Serena is playing. The serve was on fire and some of the best of Serena Williams of old was on display with a bit of rust at times but a statement victory was exactly what Serena needed as she returned to the tennis court aged 44.
Joel and Chris also react to the news of a potential Coco Gauff Berlin partnership and whether they can see Serena returning to the singles court of winning a title during the US Swing? Will Serena request a Wimbledon wild card and will The All England Club grant her one?
