Mr Martin Carter, the Head Of Academy Recruitment at EFL Championship club Middlesbrough FC, who also played for the clubs academy as a 12 year old schoolboy, joins me and tells me on Episode 23 of my Podcast.
That a lot of young players are blinded by great facilities and they should be ready to adapt and play football anywhere, because conditions are not the same at every club.
