Thomas Harley scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the Dallas Stars beat the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 on Monday night at American Airlines Center. The Stars are now 3-0-0 this season against the Jets and the two teams will meet one more time on April 2 in Dallas. Jason Robertson, Nils Lundkvist and Mikko Rantanen scored in regulation for Dallas, while Winnipeg got goals from Gabriel Vilardi, Cole Perfetti and Logan Stanley. Stanley’s goal was with an extra-attacker late in the third period to force 3-on-3 overtime. In the bonus hockey segment, Jake Oettinger stopped Mark Scheifele on a breakaway right before Harley skated down the ice and beat Connor Hellebuyck with a backhand shot. The Stars have now won five games in a row and will face the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night, their last game before the Winter Olympic Break.
