Caoimhin Kelleher made a surprise start in goal for the Reds in the Champions League on a crucial matchday against Ajax. With a point needed to ensure qualification to the knockout rounds, it was the youngsters who stepped up to the fore for the Premier League champions as Curtis Jones scored the only goal in the game thanks to a mistake from Andre Onana - assisted by Neco Williams. An open game with chances galore on both ends, Kelleher made some impressive saves - not least saving a point-blank header from Klaas Jan Huntelaar towards the end - to keep a clean sheet and ensure Liverpool not only got 3 points but also qualified top of the group following Atalanta's surprising 1-1 draw at home to Midtjylland.
