Listen in the appThe Buffalo Sabres had to battle horrible officiating, a bad overturned goal, a rockus atmosphere, and still came away with a massive Game 4 win over the Montréal Canadiens. With lots of changes to the lineup, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and Konsta Helenius entered the series and both played fantastic. Helenius earned staying in the lineup going forward, almost scoring multiple times. Did UPL earn staying in? Lindy Ruff could return to a goalie rotation, but it will be hard not to play Luukkonen in Game 5.
Going through the three Sabres goals, it's clear you have to live and die with the aggressiveness of the Sabres' defensemen. The Sabres opened the scoring with Mattias Samuelsson being aggressive on the rush, and the Sabres gave up their first goal with Mattias Samuelsson being aggressive on the rush. Meanwhile, PUCK DON'T LIE on the Tage Thompson center-ice goal, and Zach Benson and the powerplay step up again to get the game-winner.
