393. The end of several Eras at Beşiktaş as season fizzles out! Sergen OUT?

Beşiktaş’s 2025-26 season ends in bitter disappointment as the Black Eagles lose their final home match against Trabzonspor before closing the campaign with a 2-2 draw away at Çaykur Rizespor. Another frustrating year comes to an end with very few positives, no league derby wins, and home derby defeats against Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor all in the same Süper Lig season.

Despite the overall struggles, there were still a handful of memorable moments. Beşiktaş’s Turkish Cup victory away at Fenerbahçe and the emphatic 4-0 win over Göztepe stand out as rare highlights in an otherwise difficult campaign.

One major bright spot was Orkun Kökçü. Wearing the Beşiktaş jersey and captain’s armband, Orkun delivered an outstanding individual season with 10 goals and 8 assists, finishing as the club’s top scorer from central midfield.
