They discuss the Washington Capitals, who seem to have derailed since the trade deadline, pending UFA Nick Schmaltz re-signing with Utah, and the NHL modifying the disciplinary sanction originally imposed on the Ottawa Senators’ franchise for its role in connection with the July 2021 trade of Evgenii Dadonov, and they revisit their pre-season award predictions.
