Redshirts and sixth-year seniors will no longer be a thing in college sports as the Division I Council voted unanimously to pass the "5-to-play-5" rule on Tuesday, meaning athletes will have five years to play five seasons. The clock begins when they enroll as a freshman or when they turn 19, whichever comes first.
How might this impact Ohio State? And what do we think about the rule overall? Dave Biddle and Steve Helwagen delve into that and much more on the Wednesday 5ish.
