Listen in the appThe guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds and Chris Fetters - got together after Washington's ninth spring practice, their first major scrimmage of spring, to talk about what they saw, who stood out, and what might be causing issues for certain positions.
And it became clear during the two-hour-plus practice that included well over 100 scrimmage reps that the defense is well ahead of the offense. Why is that? Kim and Chris definitely offer up some opinions on that, and there's certainly reasons on both sides of the ball why that's the case.
They also talked about some of their standout performers, as well as who has stepped in and performed in the absence of others that have been held out due to injury.
There is likely to be only one more major scrimmage before Dawgs After Dark on May 1st, and that one will be a week from today, so don't hesitate to go to Husky Stadium if you can!
