LSU’s quarterback room continues to evolve under Lane Kiffin. Redshirt freshman quarterback Emile Picarella has left the program after informing the staff of his decision following spring practice. The former University Lab product confirmed the news to LouisianaSports.net and is now evaluating his next destination.

Picarella’s departure comes as LSU completely reshapes its QB room through the transfer portal. The Tigers added Sam Leavitt, Husan Longstreet and Landen Clark, while recently securing a commitment from Kaden Martin, the son of LSU assistant Tee Martin.
