College football has a ton of veteran quarterbacks for 2026, with playoff contenders from Ohio State to Texas to Notre Dame to Georgia to Oregon to USC to Penn State to LSU to Miami led by veteran signal callers.
On this episode of The Bill and Doug Show, Matt Fortuna of insidezonemf.com and The Independent podcast on Notre Dame joins Doug Lesmerises and Bill Landis to draft the 15 best power conference quarterbacks in the country heading into the season.
First, they discuss the depth of the veteran quarterbacks. Then they revisit how quarterbacks were viewed a year ago going into the 2025 season -- nobody was talking about Fernando Mendoza as a potential Heisman winner.
Then they draft, with six Big Ten quarterbacks going in their Top 15, and one guy from the Fighting Irish.
