The Phillies scored seven runs in the first inning in Friday’s series opener in Colorado, and everybody had to be thinking … here comes the offense.
The Phils won two of three this weekend in Colorado, but they scored only three runs in the final two games of the series. Fortunately, Jesús Luzardo pitched a gem in Saturday’s 2-1 victory. Unfortunately, Taijuan Walker did not in Sunday’s 4-1 loss. Takeaways from the weekend in both the hitting and pitching side?
