One Ball Rule Ep 1 | Can I play Angeles National Golf Club without losing a ball?
Golf
The One Ball Rule | Angeles National Golf Club
Welcome to The One Ball Rule, my new golf challenge series where I attempt to play an entire round using just one golf ball.
No reloads.
No second chances.
If I lose the ball… the round is over.
Today’s test takes place at Angeles National Golf Club, one of the most visually intimidating public courses in Los Angeles. Desert carries, forced shots, and trouble everywhere make this the perfect place to see if the One Ball Rule survives.
The goal is simple:
Start the round with one ball.
Finish the round with that same ball.
Sounds easy… until it isn’t.
Golf has a way of testing your discipline, patience, nerve, and humbling you all at once. The One Ball Rule exposes every mistake.
Let me know what you think of the series:
• Is it even possible to finish a round with one ball?
• What would you change about the challenge?
• Which courses should I attempt this at next?
The world is our oyster this year.
I’m also planning challenge matches where the first person who loses their ball loses the round. If everyone keeps their ball in play, then the winner is decided by lowest score.
Think of the lost ball like the 8-ball in pool.
All feedback welcome.
