Back in early July, Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo went head-to-head in the 200m for the first time since the 2024 Paris Olympics; and it was a stellar return for Lyles as he opened up his Diamond League campaign with a huge victory in 19.88 ahead of Tebogo's 19.97.
Fast forward to August, we saw the same matchup once again in the Diamond League finals with Lyles narrowly taking it in 19.74 and Tebogo in 19.76.
The World Championships will be held in Tokyo, Japan from September 13 - 21.
