After moving from Brazil in the early 1990s, World Cup winner Jorginho is still grateful for his big break in Europe at Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Now, he is giving something back with the "Bola pra Frente" project. For more than 20 years, he and his team have helped to guide children in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro towards a better life, with a special emphasis on educational and cultural development often through the help of football and sports. Their fantastic work was highlighted in September 2025 when he visited the BayArena with some of the youngsters who've felt the benefits of the initiative.
