Japan entered the VNL 2024 Final after an incredible tournament full of heart, defense, speed, and determination. After shocking Brazil in an epic semifinal, the Japanese team carried the hopes of millions into the championship match against the powerful Italian squad led by Paola Egonu.

From the very first rally, the atmosphere in Bangkok was electric. Italy dominated the opening sets with monster blocks, heavy serves, and explosive attacks from Paola Egonu, while Japan fought for every single ball with unbelievable defense and teamwork.
