At the beginning of the match, it was obvious that the weight of responsibility and the desire to win was weighing on both teams, so they played somewhat stiffly. In addition, realizing the importance of a good serve, the opponents took risks and made mistakes. At first, the hosts were a little more nervous – 2:5, but after a timeout by Konstantin Ushakov, the guests lost three points in a row – 5:5. The game became more even, with both teams taking turns leading by no more than one point. They also rolled into the end – 18:18. It is worth noting that in the second half of the set, Uralochka-NTMK had better reception, which allowed Olga Khlebnikova to use her attackers more often in the center of the net. However, Eva Pavlovich Mori was also able to pass a great pass to Yulia Brovkina – 20:21. The match was expected to end in a draw, but Branka Tita scored, followed by an ace from Khlebnikova (23:20), and Fitisov and Protopopov scored on a good reception, resulting in a score of 20:25.

The beginning of the second set also caused trouble for the hosts – 3:5. But after the coaching instructions of Konstantin Ushakov, the team came to its senses. First of all, there were several brilliant attacks by Yulia Brovkina – 8:8. Olga Biryukova hammered a couple of nails on the opponent's side. And the main hero of the second set was Bogumila Byarda, who came in instead of Elena Mladenovic. It was after her attacks that the Zarechenki gained a break advantage – 15:13. However, the Ural team did not give up and successfully caught up – 18:18, 19:19. However, in the end, the hosts mirrored the first set. This time, they were flawless in their offense, scoring a bye from Byard, adding an ace from Biryukov, and a spectacular first serve from Brovkina to seal the deal – 25:21.

In the third set, the Zarechenki immediately took control of the game. The hosts were attacking at high speeds. Bogumila Byarda continued to excel in the attack, and her serve became extremely difficult for the visiting team. They were unable to break through the Zarechenki block on their own serve, resulting in a 19-12 score. However, the Ural team did not give up and found a way to respond with Khlebnikova's serves, which allowed them to regain the game, resulting in a 20-17 score. However, the hosts played the final again brilliantly. Byarda scored the decisive goal – 25:19.

In the fourth set, the guests were able to adjust and began to close down Byarda's attacks, leading to a score of 8:11. Eventually, the coach of the Zarechenki team brought Mladenovic back onto the court, but positive changes did not occur immediately. It seemed that the game was heading towards a fifth set, with scores of 15:19 and 18:22. However, everything changed with the introduction of Angelina Sperskaitė's serves. The first was a clean ace, followed by an attack on the passing ball by Yulia Brovkina – 20:22. The guests became nervous and made two mistakes in the attack – 22:22. The hosts already had a moral advantage, which they used. Another ace from the playmaker of the Moscow region team, an attack by Biryukova and again an error from the Ural volleyball players – 25:22.
