In the third set, Lokomotiv managed to maintain a comfortable lead, keeping the Lions at bay. The Novosibirsk team reached the set point with a significant advantage (24:18), but faced challenges. Al Hachdadi's serves put the nerves of the spectators on edge, resulting in a score of 22:24. Lokomotiv did not allow anything more – 25:22 after Kazachenkov's attack.

Igor Kolodinsky's team failed to recover at the start of the new set. The hosts immediately took the initiative in their hands with a series of Voronkov's serves, leading 8:2. The Belgorod team accumulated errors in their offense, but after a Tetyukhin ace and a block on Kazachenkov, the gap was reduced to three points, resulting in a score of 8:11. Nikolov managed to make two saves, while Kurbanov and Voronkov were successful in the attack, resulting in a score of 21:17. Voronkov ended the match with a clever serve, resulting in a score of 25:20, and Lokomotiv secured a spot in the semifinals in a nerve-wracking series.
