Linus Ullmark delivered a series of incredible saves for Ottawa, including a “10-bell” glove robbery and a clutch overtime penalty shot stop to keep his team alive against Carolina. Frederik Andersen answered with highlight-reel stops of his own, including a goal-line save that defied belief.
Dan Vladar came up huge late to secure a Game 1 win for Philadelphia, while Stuart Skinner made multiple key stops to keep Pittsburgh in the fight. Jake Oettinger flashed the glove against Minnesota, and Scott Wedgewood turned aside a penalty shot in Colorado.
Alex Lyon and Andrei Vasilevskiy added to the chaos with game-saving moments, including a spectacular post-to-post denial that had the broadcast team saying, “you’ve gotta be kidding me!”
