North Carolina vs. Stanford Game Highlights | 2025-26 ACC Men's Basketball
General Sports
The No. 14 North Carolina Tar Heels and the Stanford Cardinal played a classic game in Maples Pavilion, with the Cardinal coming away with the 95-90 win. Carolina led for most of the game, but with just over 1 minute remaining and trailing by 2, Jeremy Dent-Smith drained a three-pointer to give the Card the lead. After a Carolina turnover, Ryan Agarwal stepped up and nailed his 5th three-pointer of the game to give Stanford a 4-point cushion, and they were able to salt the game away from there. Freshman Ebuka Okorie had another incredible game for the Stanford, scoring a career-high 36 points while shooting 12-20 from the floor and 3-5 from deep. The 36 points marked the most points scored by a Stanford freshman. He also added 9 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals in the win. Henri Veesaar and Caleb Wilson each scored 26 points, with Veesaar shooting an amazing 9-12 from the floor, including 2-2 from three-point range. Wilson had an incredible 2nd half, scoring 20 of his 26 points after the break. Wilson was a perfect 8-8 in the 2nd half and finished the game 11-16 with 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a blocked shot in the loss.
