Grant Fisher Finally Gets His First Diamond League Win | Paris 5000m Recap

Grant Fisher won the Paris Diamond League 5000m in 12:54.80, edging Jacob Krop and Andreas Almgren in a stacked field where ten athletes broke 13 minutes. It was his first Diamond League victory.

Sitting fourth with 140 meters to go — not the position you'd typically expect from a runner whose reputation has tilted toward strength rather than kick — Fisher swung wide off the final turn and outsprinted Krop to the line.
