Meet the Aluminati I CAADASTROPHE
Based out of Munich, Marcel builds aluminium Cannondales with rare patience and intent. What began as a personal outlet alongside a demanding career in M&A law slowly evolved into a deeper study of cycling from the inside out — proportions, performance, and the quiet honesty of alloy frames.
This film traces Marcel’s path from early Cannondale influences to vintage CAAD builds, the rise of the Cult of CAAD, and his belief that performance, clarity, and meaning are not reserved for carbon or trends. From a seven‑year CAAD4 build to modern interpretations like the CAAD14, the philosophy remains unchanged: start with the frame, build only what makes sense, and let the bike speak for itself.
This is a story about aluminium.
About craftsmanship.
And about why CAAD still matters.
