IW Hockey reviews the Labeda Evo Spacer System.
Compared to traditional spacer systems that have a large gap between the bearings, the Evo Spacers are able to concentrate power through the center of the wheel. This allows players to flex the entire wheel and not just the top part of the urethane, creating significantly more speed-promoting rebound and much better gripping power. Another important improvement of having the bearings right next to each is to prevent bearing bind and the massive glide and power decrease that occurs in traditional wheels.
