Wanyonyi raced in Oslo days after becoming a father. He had originally been scheduled to run Stockholm last weekend and scratched after his child was born. Oslo was his first race of the post-fatherhood chapter and the first time in his pro career that he lined up against Cooper Lutkenhaus.
He helped Cooper off the track after the photo finish, then waited with him to see the result.
