Johnny Pace sits down with content creator, athlete, and all-around wild human Isaiah Photo ahead of their run in The Speed Project — a relay race from Santa Monica Pier to the Las Vegas sign, entirely on foot.
Isaiah opens up about getting faster in his 30s, going from a 2:50 marathon to chasing sub-2:30, completing 75 Hard during a marathon build, and why he thinks the only people who don't make it in content are the ones who quit.
Oh, and he once did a kickflip with Tony Hawk, ran a marathon in Crocs, and crossed an entire country barefoot. Just a normal guy.
They also talk about the running community Isaiah built in Austin — Goodpain — which has grown to 80-100 runners every Tuesday morning, all training for something real.
If you want to see what happens when Johnny and Isaiah actually run Santa Monica to Las Vegas together, stay tuned.
