Spot Sports video
Ahead of Rugby World Cup 2027 tickets going on sale, join Kick offs and Kick Ons stars, the Professor (James Rochford), Drew Mitchell and and Adam Ashley-Cooper to discuss the best ever crossover athletes in the second episode of Codehoppers.
In episode 4, they discuss Australia's powerful winger, Lote Tuqiri, who switched over from league to union ahead of the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Tuqiri immediately established himself as a mainstay in the Wallabies 15 as they powered their way to the Final on home soil, where they ultimately fell short to England. Tuqiri stayed on with the Wallabies through to the 2007 Rugby World Cup, after which he re-signed through to the 2011 tournament - before his contract was cut short in 2009. The Winger then returned to rugby league for another successful stint, before retiring in 2014.
