Time Magazine DISRESPECTS Caitlin Clark In Athlete Of The Year Article...
Basketball
Zero days without WNBA drama… and today it’s all blowing up over the new TIME Magazine Athlete of the Year article featuring A’ja Wilson and the way it drags Caitlin Clark for absolutely no reason. In this video, I react live to the viral screenshots from the article, break down why fans are furious, and explain how the media continues to manufacture narratives that hurt the WNBA instead of helping it grow.
A’ja Wilson deserves to be celebrated. She’s a three-time MVP, a Finals champion, an Olympic gold medalist, and arguably the most dominant player in the WNBA. This should have been her moment. Instead, the piece repeatedly brings up Caitlin Clark.. questioning her impact, referencing racial divides, implying she’s responsible for toxic narratives she has spoken out against many times, and even adding bizarre lines like “to be clear, A’ja didn’t cheer her injury.”
Why are we doing this? Why does every major WNBA conversation turn into a Caitlin Clark debate? Let me know what you guys think in the comments...
