Trentino vs Lube | Highlights | Italian Volleyball League Playoffs 2026 | Game 1. One of the biggest matches of the Italian SuperLega Credem Banca 2026 Playoffs took place on March 8, 2026, when Cucine Lube Civitanova hosted Itas Trentino in Game 1 of the quarterfinal series at the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova Marche, Italy. Two historic Italian volleyball giants met in the opening match of their best-of-five playoff battle, with both teams fighting for an early advantage in the race to the SuperLega semifinals.

After an intense and high-level match full of powerful attacks and long rallies, Itas Trentino secured an important away victory, defeating Cucine Lube Civitanova 3–1 and taking the 1–0 lead in the playoff series.

The match started with a very balanced first set where both teams traded points through strong serving and aggressive offense. Trentino managed to stay more composed in the crucial moments and edged the set 25–23. Lube responded in the second set with strong attacking and the energy of their home crowd, leveling the match 25–21.

However, Trentino regained control in the third set thanks to solid blocking and efficient offense, winning 25–20. In the fourth set the visitors remained consistent under pressure and closed the match 25–22, sealing a valuable road victory to open the series.

Trentino’s offense was led by Théo Faure, who finished as the top scorer for Trentino with 15 points, including 11 successful attacks and 2 blocks. Outside hitter Daniele Lavia added 9 points while contributing strongly in reception with 52% positive passes. Another important offensive option was Jordi Ramon, who scored 9 points, including 7 attacks and 2 blocks.

In the middle, Flávio Gualberto contributed 9 points, including 7 successful attacks and 1 block, while Béla Bartha added 7 points with an excellent 67% attack efficiency. Setter Riccardo Sbertoli directed the offense throughout the match and even added 1 ace from the service line.

Despite the defeat, Lube Civitanova fought hard and managed to take one set in front of their home supporters, but Trentino’s efficiency in attack and better execution in the key moments proved decisive.

With this result, Itas Trentino takes a valuable 1–0 advantage in the SuperLega quarterfinal series, gaining early momentum as the teams continue their battle for a place in the Italian Volleyball League semifinals.
