GolfGolf Swing

If your ball striking is inconsistent, the problem might be happening in the first foot of your swing.

Most golfers drag the club too far to the inside on the takeaway. It feels natural, but it puts the rest of the swing in a really difficult position before you’ve even got going.

Here’s what a good takeaway actually looks like:

✅ Club stays relatively in front of your body at hip height
✅ Club face turns slightly down toward the ground
✅ Using this drill the alignment rod stays in contact with the lead leg throughout

Get this right and the backswing becomes significantly easier to complete.

Use an alignment rod as a feedback tool at the range. It will show you immediately if the club is tracking too far inside.
