After Yenisei's time-out, Vlasov continued to serve confidently, and the team increased their advantage – Sapozhkov converted a set-up, and Bogdan blocked the Siberians' diagonal player, Evgeny Rybakov.

The blue-and-white team confidently entered the final stages (20:16), but a series of their own mistakes allowed the opponent to return to the game. Nevertheless, Sapozhkov was reliable in the attack at crucial moments, and his two consecutive aces put an end to the match – 25:22 and 3:0.
