Stage 4 of the Tour of Oman looked like a straightforward sprint day on paper, but it turned into a tense, chaotic fight for position all the way to Sohar. A late break tried to shake things up, teams battled through the corners to control the finale, and the lead-outs got messy on the long finishing straight — leaving plenty of room for a surprise launch.

There was still some action off the front (including another bold move from the young attacker), but the main story was the nervous run-in and a full-gas bunch sprint where timing and positioning mattered more than a perfect train.
