Brandon Williams led the way for Dallas with 20 points and 7 rebounds, while Dwight Powell added 18 points and 6 boards. Rookie Cooper Flagg contributed a double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists, helping the Mavericks improve to 2–3 on the season.
Pascal Siakam posted 27 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 assists, becoming the first Pacer to surpass 100 points in the first four games of a season since Paul George in 2013–14. Jarace Walker recorded a career-high 20 points along with 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals, while RayJ Dennis also notched a career-best 17 points. With the defeat, the Pacers remain winless at 0–4.
