Yan Diomande Show! ⭐️ | RB Leipzig - VfB Stuttgart | Bundesliga Highlights & Cinematic Recap
Soccer
The Red Bulls' superb run continues: with a 3-1 victory in the top-of-the-table clash against VfB Stuttgart, head coach Ole Werner's team remained unbeaten in their ninth competitive game in a row (eight wins, one draw).
Shortly before the half-time whistle, it was Yan Diomande who forced Jeff Chabot into an own goal with a fast-paced run down the wing and a razor-sharp cross – 1-0 to RBL (45').
After the break, our boys kept up the pressure – and once again Yan Diomande caused great jubilation in the Red Bull Arena: the 18-year-old youngster finished off a strong solo run to make it 2-0 – his first home goal (53)! Tiago Tomas scored almost out of nowhere to pull one back and played his part in ensuring that the 47,800 spectators in the sold-out arena experienced a real thriller until shortly before the end (65'). The emphasis is on almost: Romolu was wide awake in stoppage time against VfB goalkeeper Nübel and only had to slide the ball into the empty net to make it 3-1 (90'). It was already the Brazilian's fourth goal of the season.
