Thanks to some hot shooting, the 8-seeded Seminoles knocked off the 9-seeded Golden Bears, 95-89, to advance to the quarterfinal round of the 2026 T. Rowe Price ACC Men's Basketball Tournament. Florida State led by as many as 22 midway through the second half. FSU made 57.4% of its field goal attempts and 13 three-pointers, while Cal shot 50.8% overall and made 11 three-pointers. Robert McCray V led the way for the Seminoles with 30 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Lajae Jones finished the game with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Kobe MaGee scored 13 points and hit four three-pointers, all in the first half. For Cal, Dai Dai Ames scored a team-high 27 points, making four three-pointers. Lee Dort had seven points and 18 rebounds.
