At the very start of the first set, the white-and-blue team earned a break advantage (4:2), and with a series of serves by Anton Semyshev, they increased it to a significant level – 11:6. Konstantin Bryansky's team set the tone and had complete control over the match. The Dinamo players won several long sets, and at one point, their advantage reached double digits – 20:10. As a result, the match ended with a score of 25:13 and a 1:0 set advantage for Dinamo.

The start of the second set was also won by the hosts. Blocker Maxim Belogortsev made an ace, and the diagonal player Maxim Sapozhkov and the setter Denis Bogdan won the set points with aesthetic flair – 6:2. By the middle of the set, Nova regained the balance, however, then the Dinamo took several long plays, and with them the game and emotional dominance – 25:21 and a confident 2:0 in sets.

In the third set, the guests' head coach Oleg Mikanovich made a roster rotation, bringing in Nikolai Zubov as a diagonal player instead of Romanas Škuliavičius, and Vladislav Polochanin as a middle blocker instead of Pavle Perić. Earlier, Oleg Terentyev replaced Nikola Jovović as the setter. Unlike the first-round match, the roster change did not affect the game's course. The setter Konstantin Tyushkevich, who came on the court in place of Pavel Pankov, confidently led the team's play, and Dynamo continued to dominate in all aspects, quickly building up a breakaway lead. With a score of 25:18 and 3:0, Dynamo secured a convincing victory and moved up to third place in the standings.
