The Buffalo Sabres beat the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 on December 11, 2025. Trevor Kuntar made his NHL debut in the game. Rasmus Dahlin kicked off the scoring early for Buffalo with a one-timer off a pass from Ryan McLeod. The Canucks tied it up to close the first frame. After another Vancouver goal, Tage Thompson scored Buffalo's second, with an assist from Dahlin. Zach Benson scored the Sabres third, and his first goal of the season, to close the second. Goaltender Alex Lyon made 32 saves in the matchup.
