MIC'D UP: Clarke Schmidt Golfs at First Tee | HOPE WEEK 2026

Watch as Yankees pitcher Clarke Schmidt is mic'd up for the third day of HOPE Week, where he joins other Yankees players and coaches for a tour of Mosholu Golf Course and participates in putting games with First Tee students and coaches. See the friendly competition between Schmidt's team and Gerrit Cole's team on the putting green.

On day three of HOPE Week, we honored First Tee Metropolitan New York. Founded in 2001 at Mosholu Golf Course in The Bronx, First Tee's mission has always been to foster strength of character in young people, particularly in communities that have historically lacked access to golf or enrichment opportunities.

By combining the sport with a structured life skills curriculum, First Tee encourages participants to develop resilience, self-confidence and positive decision-making.
