Despite leading for most of the game, Virginia found itself down one with 21 seconds to go, and Paris Clark found Romi Levy for a go-ahead three-pointer with 12 seconds remaining. Louisville inbounded the ball from under the basket with 2.3 seconds left to Imari Berry, but her corner three-pointer for the win was short and hit off the rim. Kymora Johnson led UVA with 16 points, three assists, two rebounds, and a blocked shot. Levy hit three-three pointers in the game and had 15 points, three rebounds, two steals, and a block. Paris Clark added 14 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and a steal. Elif Istanbulluoglu led Louisville with 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Reyna Scott had 16 points. Louisville's Tajianna Roberts left the game in the first quarter due to an injury.
